Tonight,  like every night, Victor Marshal wakes to drink his customary glass of water at the kitchen sink whilst watching the quiet dark street beyond it. But this morning, something is different, something slithers and skirts through the velvet darkness, and Victor wants to know what it is...

A Drop in the Ocean

Ocean Carter is dejected when her most recent attempt at presenting her novel to a publisher yields the same result as always. Fed up with her lonely life and her mundane 9-5, Ocean receives a phone call from a distant aunt who beckons her to a party nearby. Hanging up and staring at the blank screen of her mobile phone waiting for the call from the publisher that never seems to come, Ocean decides to go and see her mysterious aunt for a solution.

Neighbour

Who could convince a frail, old woman to leave her lifelong home but her loving husband? And yet, even with his pleas, Mavis does not want to go live with her sister Mary. But the neighbours are becoming insufferable, and yet again Mavis had to ring the police on the son. The mother isn't much better, and as Alfred becomes desperate to get his wife to leave, the woman next door is itching for revenge. 

Demons

Angels gatekeep the grand entrance, and they are no stranger  to using force to ensure only the purest cross the threshold. A relentless lost soul won't give up her fight to enter, even though the demons are on the cusp of their nightly sweep to collect the souls who wander the realm freely with no abode...
